Foundation Course

The Foundation Course, also referred to as the Kundalini Awakening Process, is a structured introduction to Simplified Kundalini Yoga (SKY). It offers a safe and systematic approach to understanding the connection between the body, mind, and life energy. The course is designed to help participants experience inner calm, mental clarity, and balanced energy through simple yet effective yogic practices.

  • This course is suitable for both beginners (14 yrs and above) and experienced practitioners. No prior yoga experience is required.

Introspection

Introspection Course – A Progressive Path to Inner Refinement

The Introspection Course is a structured self-analysis programme designed to help individuals understand and refine their thoughts, emotions, and behaviour. Rooted in the simplified yogic system of Thiru Vethathiri Maharishi, this course provides practical tools for cultivating mental clarity, emotional balance, moral strength, and self-awareness.

Delivered in three progressive stages, the course guides participants from understanding thought patterns to managing emotions and, ultimately, to deeper self-realisation.

What the course covers

Stage 1 – Introspection I

  • Analysis and awareness of thought patterns
  • Moralisation and prioritisation of desires
  • Understanding the cause–effect relationship of thoughts and actions

Stage 2 – Introspection II

  • Identification and neutralisation of anger
  • Techniques to manage and eliminate worries
  • Strengthening emotional balance and mental discipline

Stage 3 – Introspection III

  • Deeper self-inquiry and self-awareness
  • Understanding the purpose of life and personal responsibility
  • Refinement of character through ethical living principles

Who is this for

This course is intended for participants who have successfully completed the Foundation Course including Kayakalpa Yoga.

The Introspection Course is progressive in nature—participants must complete Stage 1 before moving to Stage 2, and Stage 2 before progressing to Stage 3. Each stage builds upon the previous one, ensuring a gradual and stable inner transformation.

Total course duration: 12 x 3 = 36 hrs (over multiple days)

Brahmagnanam -

Divine Realisation

Brahmagnanam represents the highest stage of inner realisation in the SKYoga system. It enables a deep understanding of the unified force of the universe and its functioning as a penetrative consciousness present in all existence. Through this realisation, the unfailing Law of Cause and Effect becomes clear, guiding individuals toward a virtuous, peaceful, and purposeful way of life.

As taught by Thiru Vethathiri Maharishi, the practice of Brahmagnanam helps practitioners recognise and live in alignment with the qualities of the divine state—leading to lasting peace, contentment, and clarity.

  • Understanding the unified force of the universe and universal magnetism

  • Realisation of consciousness as the underlying principle of all existence

  • Clear insight into the Law of Cause and Effect and its role in daily life

  • Refinement of values and conduct based on universal moral principles

Arulnithiyar – Living the Life of Service and Wisdom

The Arulnithiyar Programme represents the stage of mastery and selfless service in the SKYoga system. It is designed for individuals who have attained deeper inner realisation and are prepared to live and share this wisdom through disciplined practice, moral living, and service to society.
Guided by the vision of Thiru Vethathiri Maharishi, the Arulnithiyar path emphasises compassion, responsibility, and the practical application of spiritual knowledge for the well-being of individuals and the community. Practitioners cultivate a balanced life rooted in clarity, humility, and conscious action.

  • Structured guidance for applying spiritual principles in daily life
  • Development of discipline, compassion, and social responsibility
